A.I.R. normally operates on a full-concession basis, the terms being defined
below.
Its active role is based around three major aspects : logistics, the sales
personel and marketing. Its

I- Definition of A.I.R.'s contract
The full-concession operation is the most transparent and advantageous
for an airline company. Each month A.I.R. is committed to pay to the company
a percentage of the turnover called concession fee.
This
corresponds to a net revenue for the company since A.I.R. assumes all
the direct costs and charges.
A.I.R. is responsible for :
Within the framework of its contract A.I.R. provides :
- the products selection;
- the purchasing and stock-holding of duty-free goods;
-
the preparation of in-flight sales barsets, according to standards dependent
upon the type of aircraft, networks and seasons;

the delivery of these barsets to the aircraft handling companies;
- the management of all customs formalities;
- the
installation and maintenance of in-flight sales computers for airline
personnel;

the design of sales procedures and making available for airline personnel
all the necessary documentation and consumables (seals, cash envelopes,
etc™™);
- the
training and leading of the sales staff
- the
design and realisation of sales brochures and other sales promotional
material (video adverts, advertising, leaflets, promotional vouchers
or bags);
- the
complete management of after-sales service to customers of the airlines.
The company is responsible for :
- providing sales trolleys for the duration of the contract (these to be maintained by A.I.R.);
- a training session for the crew during 3 hours in groups of 6.
- regular
transmission of flight schedules and plans for sales-related equipment
for aircraft;
- the nomination of a member of staff responsible for interfacing between the company and our organisation;
- distribution
of an in-flight sales catalogue to its passengers (placed, for example,
in the backseats of the aircrafts).
