II — Human and technical resources

With the financial and logistical support of its shareholder, Aeroboutique Inflight Retail aims to become the bench-marker in the in-flight sales market.

Human resources :

- A.I.R.’s 55 associates form a multi-disciplinary team composed of :

    * airline staff with experience in catering, marketing and flight attendant training
    * specialists in selective distribution;
    * logistics experts;
    * former flight attendants

- In addition to its own purchasing structure, A.I.R. benefits from the expertise of its parent company’s purchasing team, which is specialised in product lines.

- A.I.R. has access to a team of specialist trainers capable of stepping in quickly to train client companiesÆ hostesses and stewards. Half of these trainers are former airline crew members.

Technical and logistical resources :

Since 1997, A.I.R. has invested more than 2 millions euros in perfecting a computer-controlled system to manage in-flight sales.

  • A.I.R. provides client airlines crews with a modern and extremely user-friendly sales computer, which makes their in-flight work easier and more secure.
  • A.I.R. has invented a completely computerised trolley processing system, which is easily transferable to any new logistics platform and can be adapted to suit any new airline.

A.I.R. provides its customers with the most efficient technology currently available.
